December 2020:

Required High School Placement Test: Saturday, December 12, 2020

All candidates seeking admission should take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Candidates who submit a completed application for admission will be automatically registered to take the HSPT at Antonian. By agreement of the principals of all Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, candidates are encouraged to test at the high school of their first choice but are also able to send their HSPT scores to two additional high schools. Due to the expected number of students seeking admission into Antonian, we cannot assure admission to students who do not test at Antonian.

Please note, Antonian offers HSPT merit scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 to all candidates who test at Antonian and score in the 90th percentile or higher on the High School Placement Test.  This HSPT scholarship is renewable annually as long as the student remains at the top of his/her class and maintains a clean disciplinary record.

Testing at your child's middle school:

Area schools in the Archdiocese of San Antonio will administer the High School Placement Test (HSPT) during the school day on December 11 at their current school. This test is for 8th-grade students only. Advanced registration to take the HSPT is strongly encouraged. During COVID-19, protocols have been to limit large gatherings if at all possible. This is a reasonable solution for your student to test in very safe and familiar surroundings. If your student is unable to attend the middle school testing date on December 11, please register for a high school testing session on December 12. Registration for each test date will close at 11:59 p.m. (CST) on the close dates listed below. To register after the deadline, please call the Admissions Office of your preferred testing site.
